expect nothing from being the mirror

I hope you don't expect an answer to this,

of course i am not going around telling people that i didn't meet anyone who is "being the mirror" on your list...

what would be the purpose of doing so...

I'm disappointed yes...

but what can i expect ?

My question will be : why? Why should anyone reply to you? What if

nobody choose not to respond to your query? Would you get upset? Or

go off and tell others : this group is horrible. I thought there are

knowledgeable people in here and yet they can't even answer my

simple query?

 

I remember when I came across an image of Kali as a baby. Held by

Sarada Devi on her lap, while Ramakrishna looks on like a proud

father. I asked this question: Kali as Baby? How come? What's the

meaning of this image. I seek around and yet found no answer until

after a year later, when I least expect it. The answer just came to

me via another person.

 

"You are stupid fool Nora!, we are in the age of Information

revolution. We want answers now! immediately! Pronto!. As soon as

Possible! why should I wait for a year! You are a fool! An Idiot."

 

Yeah they are right. We have instant noodles, instant diploma,

instant degree, instant approval of loans, instant children too. So

it's a natural reaction for somebody to ask: we want instant result,

instant answers.

 

Somebody asked once "I have prayed to Devi for almost three years

now and yet I've got no results as she promise." Why is that so?

 

Have you tried Quilting? Quilting can be very therapeutic especially

for those with high blood pressure and living in a stressful

environment. It helps you to understand the virtue of patience and

silence. You cannot do quilting while talking. Your mind needs to

focus and concentrate, or everything will go messy.

 

You should try the crazy quilt. That is what it actually does,

putting all the different fabric from all the different designs

together can drive you nuts, but the final output : A beautiful art

piece that you can proudly hang on your wall or use as bed sheet

covers or whatever. I guess the message is: you can survive the

craziness and emerge still mentally intact, you are cool!

 

I realized when I quilt especially when I choose to sew them by

hand, time seems to slow down. I could do a lot within a short

period time. And yet when I go online creating website, you have

this sensation of spending hours in front of the computer and yet

have accomplish nothing much.

 

Speed gives us this sensation of power and momentum, which we allow

to rule our daily lives. We feel, if we move with speed, we are in

control. We have the power to master our life. But are we? Earth is

in the move all the time. The cessation of movement or stagnation is

the beginning of the end. Thus it is natural for us to move together

in the same speed as the Earth. In this modern world, we are made to

believe that the world is moving at a faster rate, and the only way

to keep it up is to move along with the speed, only then our life

will work. Does it?
