Guest guest
Pranams to all elders: I've been wondering if anybody here knows/has met any 'enlightened' soul who is still living. I believe the only enlightened soul that I have known and met is Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati Swamigal also called 'Maha Periyava' who is not physically present in this world anymore. It will be great fortune to meet other saints like Periyaval. It is very encouraging and inspiring to read articles from many of you. Please continue to share your knowledge/experience. -Hari
Guest guest
Namste Hyrryhari_007" Yes there are many enlightened souls that are still living. They only "show" themselves occasionally; something like, on a "need-to- know" basis. When you meet them you do not even need words. They cont the words. I forgot a famous shloka regarding this, may be someone can help me jog my ailing memory. `'''''''''''' `''''''''''''' (I forgot the first few lines but the shloke ends with ..) vaachM arthonu dhaavati Meaning – The meaningful words run after the enlightened sages (seers) You never can find them out, it is that they who find you. But when the True Seers utter something, events will vie with each other to fulfill the uttered words. In effect, what these exalted beings say will certainly come true.
