Dear Lulu,

The mirror, mentioned by you, should refer only to

the inscrutable Maya, which is, as you say, our original falseness.

But there does not end the matter; there is Brahman beyond that but

for which the false manifestation also cannot exist. In the language

of the Buddha, "There is an unborn, unbecoming and uncreated; if there

were not this, there would be no escape from that which is born,

becoming and created."

yours sincerely,

Sankarraman

Dear Sankarraman,

And if there is no escape from that which is born and created ?

And if falseness is all and if there is nothing beyond falseness ?

We would eventually learn to accept all flaseness there is ...

in becoming again and again until at last we learn that there is no escape from becoming again and again ...

Lulu

"There is an unborn, unbecoming and uncreated; if there

were not this, there would be no escape from that which is born,

becoming and created."
