After more than 4 months "break", the Sanskrit weekend workshop is

back ! This time at Rockville , FREE and open to all and the only pre-

requisite is enthusiasm!

No prior knowledge of Sanskrit required.

 

The workshop will be conducted by Shri Rajesh Rachabattuni, a

Samskrita Bharati volunteer. It will be highly interactive and

participatory and the focus will be on spoken Sanskrit. At the end of

two days, participants will be able to conduct basic conversations in

Sanskrit.

We will be starting free, local study group sessions in Samskritam

beginning this weekend in 4 locations in the DC metro area at College

Park, Germantown and Baltimore in MD, and Reston in VA.

With the emphasis being mainly on spoken Samskritam, we will avail of

various techniques including simple conversations in Samskritam,

listening to audio recordings, viewing videos, and of course, singing

Samskritam songs. Later sessions plan to include grammar, shlokas,

etc., depending on participants and their interests.

 

 

 

Each study group session will be independent of the other sessions,

so if you miss a session, please do not hesitate to attend the other

sessions. The more enthusiastic the response, the more will the study

groups pick up! So please spread the word to your friends and
