1. Rahu does not 'amplify' whichever planet it joins. Rahu is a dire

malefic and is the cause of desires and rebirth... If anything it amplifies

desire and obsessions for a certain planet which is very inauspicious...

similarly Mars amplifies agression and anger based on its conjunctions. What

i think you are misunderstanding is the dictum that Rahu gives the results

of (1) the planets it joins as well as the (2) the planet lording rahus

sign. This is true but reversely the planet joining rahu or lording over

rahus sign will give the results of rahu... So its both ways.

2. The statement is correct but the example isn't. Rather understand

that if Mars is red light, then Ketu is infra-red. So they are not the same

but almost the same. Both cause violence but Ketu does so by accident or by

loosing ones self-control whilst Mars gets violent as an act of defensive

tactics... Mars is the general but Ketu is the soldier... so still they are

different but much the same. Ketu gets exalted in Sagittarius whilst Rahu

gets exalted in Gemini.

3. Think for a second about this; if planets exchange signs then its

like two people exchanging their officespace. What is an arudha and if it

were to exchange, then what is being exchanged?

4. I think you need to get a better grip on arudhas before asking these

questions.

5. All Chara Karakas have the purpose of guiding the soul/atma through

life. Darakaraka helps the native do so through the blessings of Sri Sakti

or Lakshmi. This involves primarily the desire which the soul carries for

many birth, then secondarily the attachment towards a partner/spouse, and on

a tiertiary level it involves the wealth we can accumulate in this world.

Regardless of the darakarakas placement, you must first check if the atma is

accepting the darakaraka or rejecting it... if its rejected then the person

may never earn any money and will with battle constant financial problems,

provided Jupiter and the second lord is also badly placed. Instead of

Jupiter, if Venus, darakaraka and the seventh lord is badly placed from the

atmakaraka then marriage could be infinitely delayed. Here the most

important methods of estimation are (1) marana karaka sthana placements (2)

pachakadi sambandha.
