I have been reading Life of a Saint (again) and I can't seem to turn a

single page without having my eyes well up with tears and wanting to ge

to get up and sing "Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaai Maa!"

Mother's message of tolerance is so relevant! She experienced many

times when it seemed that violence would errupt between Muslims and

Hindus or between common people and thieves' gangs and She always

showed such grace and love to all.

At one instance She asks a Muslim, a Hindu and a Westerner to bring Her

water and drinks all three echoing Ramakrishna's story that, although

it is called by different names, it is the same thing.

I was so intent on the book that when we landed (I was flying to

Chicago) the gentleman next to me wanted to know what I was reading! I

seemed so absorbed!

Pranams Maa!

Namaste,

I just want to thank you for inspiring me to take Life of a Saint with

me on a trip. Even though I had read it more than once, I found new

treasures in there this morning,

Jai Jai Maa!!!!
