To all the Aastheekaas worldwide in general and to all the Andavan

sishyaas in particular adiyen makes this appeal.

 

For the convenience of the pilgrims thronging Thiruppullani to have a

Holy dip in the Aadhi Sethu and to have a dharshan of Sri Aadhi

Jagannaatha PerumaL and Sri Dharbasayana Raman,on the Niyamanam of His

Holiness Srimath Aandavan Sri Rangaramaanuja Mahaa Desikan Swami , a

convenient Ashramam is to be constructed at Thiruppullani , the Bhoomi

Puja for which was done on 27/6/06 and the construction begins on

6/7/06.

 

The cost of constructing the spacious Ashramam, to be constructed on

nearly 5200 sq.feet , is estimated around 25 lakhs of Indian Rupee. It

is needless to say that for every Astheeka- (for Srivaishnavas

specifically) to take bathe in this Holy Sethu atleast once in their

life is must as , according to poorvaachaaryaars, this Sethu is the

Holiest of all Holys due the Thiruvadi Sambantham of Lord Sri Rama due

to the fact of which it remains as sakala paapa dhosha nivaaraNi.That's

why it is said in our PuraaNams, feeding one at this Holy place (Oru

KavaLam) is equivalent to feeding one lakh at GayA, two lakhs at

VAraNasi,and seven lakhs atPrayaakai.

 

I appeal to everybody to take part in this kainkaryam. His Holiness will

be very happy if everybody helps according to their convenience. Of

course the cost is estimated as 25 lakhs which may go up due to

spiralling prices of materials.. But I request one thing. If the cost of

construction is viewed as Twenty Five Lakhs it will be very big and

keeping many of us away. But please consider that 25 lakhs is just made

up of 2500 of 1000s and if 2500 aastheekas donate Rs. 1000/- each it is

very easy. and 25 lakhs will become a small amount. I earnestly appeal

to everybody to liberally contribute to this kainkaryam and thus help

the pilgrims to this Divya Desam, ThiruppullANi.
