Dear all :

I am writing a book whose temporary title is : How Beautiful Life is! The

purpose of my book is to explore some of my life’s experiences, whether fun

or difficult, and show some of the gold I received from them. The premise I

live with is that there’s gold ready to be harvested in all of life’s

experiences especially the difficult ones.

Because of the many questions about love from this group, I thought I would

Amour

Tu sais...

Non

N'attends pas l'amour...

Ne sois pas impatient...

Il viendra de lui-même

ne t'en fais pas...

- Oui mais j'attends, j'attends

sans aucun changement... -

simplement donner...

English translation :

Love

You know. . .

No

Don’t wait for love. . .

Don’t be impatient. . .

It’ll come on its own

don’t worry

- Yes but I am waiting and waiting

and nothing changes. . .-

You must not wait. . .

Better not give it any thought

and create love around you

without thinking of yourself

without thinking for yourself

simply for the love of love. . .

Sow without expectations. . .

Sow to enrich. . .

Sow love

for ever. . .

Only then will you find love. . .

- May I believe in you Love

is the human brain fertile enough. . . -

You must not expect

simply give. . .

I was 17 when I wrote this poem. (I started meditation, healing and yoga at

36!) But I was yearning for something deeper than I was experiencing. The

experience of writing this poem was that of being in the presence of a

master speaking to me softly, gently, lovingly, feeling my impatience and

pain and guiding me toward some kind of peace with it all. I wonder who it

was guiding me like that then? Writing this poem felt like some of my

current meditations when Yogi Bhajan or some other wise soul seems to be

guiding me.

Much, much love to all,

Awtar Singh

Awtar:

I think it is AWesome that you are writing a book about your experiences.

It should bring a wellspring of joy to you and the fullness of your heart.

Your sensitivity shows.

Congratulations! It takes courage to reveal, even to yourself.
