Dear Shree Suryaji,

Complete devotion to the lotus feet of God will definitely alter the

results of all "ill-karmas"..in this context Holy Mother Sarada

Devi's words are very applicable...once someone asked her about

Diksha & all. She replied, that if you completely devote yourself to

the lotus feet of God...still you have to suffer all the bad

karmas,which however will mitigate for the time being. As an

example, She said that suppose u r destined to have some loss of

blood due to an accident, that can change to loss of few blood drops

by pricking with the needle, if u completely devote yourself to the

lotus of feet of God.

Thats why, we recommend Mantra Jap or various pujas to appease the

planets. The word "Graha" means something that accepts & has the

potential to give results. Shree Narayan or Janardana takes the form

of 9 planets & they are placed on your birth chart, accordingly u

enjoy or suffer in this birth. Nine planets, who are the 9 form

Shree Janardana, can be prayed or worshipped, thus worshipping

Narayan indirectly.

However, all these varies from person to person....one might not

believe in Karma....its people's own belief & practices..no one shld

not intervene....we cannot impose one thing upon an

atheist....evrything should be spontaneous.....I have been studying

astrology when i was 18 years older...now am still studying & am 20

now....I have seen miracles in Astrology....though my parents are

against it...still i am addicted.....

For One who does not believe in Karma, then i think, words of Swami

Vivekananda,"You are the maker of your destiny" & "Each & every

person is equally & potentially divine" will definitely help him.
