Guest guest
Dear Prafullji, Since You have indicated me to speak freely, I can do so but all of us may feel bad about it. Whatever good adjectives we may attribute to ourselves and feel proud about our past glories and glorify it today, justifying our present indolent existence, the fact remains that most of us are actually a lazy lot, be it private, Govt.,or Public sectors. We require easy money sitting under fan and comfort of air conditioned cabins without having to work hard for it. We dont work until deadlines are given to us by our bosses, until we see our capitals and reserves getting eroded, until the bamboo is there on our heads and back, until incentives are given to us. We get plenty of excuses to rest at home and watch TV,be it by way of cricket match, heavy rains, fear of bomb blasts, traffic jams, illness in family or what not. I can extend this to usual of my long mails but I will not do so, for fear of reprisal and do not want to face the music. And what is the sense too, to exhibit our body beneath our torn clothes. Ultimately all of us know in our hearts what we are capable of and how much optimum use we are able to make use of our utilities due to our laid back attitudes. The best brains in the world we have no doubt about that,Our Vedas, Our religion, Our cultures,Our mathematics-concept of Zero, etc. has already been proved. But few us of shine on the horizons, few like Wiswanath Anand, Amritraj Brothers,Ambani,Tatas,Birla,Mittal,Singhania,Murthy,Sania, and many others who make us proud and feel contented to make us accept ourselves as proud Indians., and not achieve more, though we can........... Guest guest
Dear Prafullji, The Goverment is in no way a small contributor to state of affairs today in our country. The army if let loose can immediately kick out or kill these terrorists who are raping the country when and wherever they wish, but the Govt.is not serious due to individual political favouritsm exisiting which is for the vote Banks. Is this not eroding our economy ? The businessmen who are already contributing by way of Sales tax,Income tax and other taxes, instead of being given thanks are continously pressuriesd by Officials coming and demanding more by way of penalties, fines, fear of raids , enforcement etc. Why instead of squeezing the same people, the Govt.is not searching for new tax payers who also form a major population in the cities, but not coming in the tax payers category by avoiding taxes and not registering themselves. In Bombay itself any lane You go and You will find Pav Bhaji stalls, Chinese food stalls, juice stalls, on the roads who are individually taking cash more than Rs.5000 daily, but no one to take taxes from them, because money is taken underhand by the servants of these authorities, so both are happy, forgetting the economy and loss to economy. Why are these people not exterminated ?Or why are they not asked to contribute officially and the right amount? Taxation- Whatever FM may talk that we have the least in our country., but go to the markets, electrical, auto, glass, plastic, electronics, cloth, ball bearings, etc. if sales tax is taken more than 10% how many will do transactions in 1 No. ie.in books ? Naturally people would be forced to do business in chits ie. in 2 No. We cant blame them also, because if I were in their place and go to buy 1 Philips steam Iron, and the shopkeeper says if You want bill You will have to pay 12% more on the cost price Rs.1200 that comes to Rs.144 more, I will also honestly tell him that Bhai You forget the bill, just take the money and give me the iron. So the Govt. should concentrate more on larger amount of tax payers rather than increasing the taxes, for ex.if they bring down the tax to 2% and bring everyone in the bracket all will lovingly pay also and the Govt. too will get larger turnovers in the end. But who is going to bell the cat ? If the Govt. does this than who will pay to the IT Officers extra packets at time of assessment or other times ? If every one is honest than how will these peoples extra expenditures be met ? Privatisation with self regulation authorities should come upfront now, since the Govt.has not been able to prove much. What happened to the Post Offices who have got the best physical network in India ? They are now runningin losses only because of their draconian rate structure & charges when someone went to postoffice few years back how they behaved in a shabbily manner -Your envelop is 10grams more put more stamp -rough talking etc. Now look what happened. All private couriers have taken their business. Now these idiots have come up with OBC and such rubbish stuff. so that merit will be comletely wiped out from the face of Mother India. God save us and the future generations if such type of rulers ruleover us.Want to write much more, but this will not bring me money for my expenses at home. regards/Bhaskar. , "bhaskar_jyotish" <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > Dear Prafullji, > > Since You have indicated me to speak freely, I can do so but > all of us may feel bad about it. > Whatever good adjectives we may attribute to ourselves and feel > proud about our past glories and glorify it today, justifying our > present indolent existence, the fact remains that most of us > are actually a lazy lot, be it private, Govt.,or Public sectors. > We require easy money sitting under fan and comfort of air > conditioned cabins without having to work hard for it. > We dont work until deadlines are given to us by our bosses, until > we see our capitals and reserves getting eroded, until the bamboo > is there on our heads and back, until incentives are given to us. > We get plenty of excuses to rest at home and watch TV,be it > by way of cricket match, heavy rains, fear of bomb blasts, > traffic jams, illness in family or what not. > I can extend this to usual of my long mails but I will not do so, > for fear of reprisal and do not want to face the music. > And what is the sense too, to exhibit our body beneath our > torn clothes. > Ultimately all of us know in our hearts what we are capable of and > how much optimum use we are able to make use of our utilities due > to our laid back attitudes. > The best brains in the world we have no doubt about that,Our > Vedas, Our religion, Our cultures,Our mathematics-concept of Zero, > etc. has already been proved. Guest guest
SHRI SEKHAR BABU, Ram ram, Sir it is better to criticise rather than remain secular, the way secularism is used today. We have long since been blaming ourselves only , but we should not outright give others a clean chit. If we talk about Ram Mandir we are non secular, if we talk about playing national anthems in schools and cinema halls we are called as non secular, if we do Maha aratis on the road we are non-secular, if we also handover Ramayana and other granths to school for children to study or pressurise govt. to make Sanskrit language mandatory in schools we are non secular, if we talk of killing MF Hussain for making naked paintings of Devatas and Devis we are non secular, if we talk in having national Public holidays on Krishna Jamashtami or Rama Janma, then we are non secular. Rest can do everything and they are secular. We if critisise anyone is bad ? I better criticise and remain non secular , because enough of beating, whiplashing and rubbish we have taken , No more. Guest guest
Dear Shri Sharma ji, We choose to talk about issues, but seldom can exert to overcome the hindrances. Perhaps, we are scared to be put to the test. and very seldom, we like to listen our own criticism. We then connect it to ego and try to justify our stand, with lot many excuses for our own laziness, dishonesty or unproductivity. regards / Prafulla Gang "Hard work never killed anybody", but why take the risk! > > bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in > Mon, 07 Aug 2006 13:30:35 -0000 > > Re: SPEAK FREELY > > SHRI SEKHAR BABU, > Ram ram, > > Sir it is better to criticise rather than remain secular, the > way secularism is used today. Guest guest
Shri Shekhar Babu, Ram Ram, Sir I am a small child in front of You. Why playing with me.I knew You were talking on individual level, thats why i said, "I cannot be as good as You Sashie Bhai" I know that You are a good soul and do not want me to dirty myself by criticising. But Sir when we wear this cloak of astrologer, then certain things we want to do are not possible, due to certain requirements as laid down. Those things which i want to do which I cannot, sitting on the seat of astrologer, when I shed the cloak again I am able to do, as they keep gathering in the system and need to be steamed out. So when I got the free run, I thought let me also... Any way now again its okay. So dont worry no more criticising from my side until someone provocates. You should also correct me when I go overboard, just like one own does. I am also trying to see Lord Rama in the people all around but it will take time......... affectionately, Bhaskar. , shashi shekhar sharma <polite_astro wrote: > > ll HARE RAM ll > Bhai Bhaskar ji, > I am firmly agree with you regarding the so called fake secularism but my view about the criticism was only at the individual level here.I do salute your interpretation about the different subject and vast knowledge.Plz do not say so as you wrote in the last line. You have Mahabagya yoga in your > horo. This mean you have all the good qualities like a saint.I appreciate your pious thinking truly.I do try to follow the said chaupaie of Ramcharitmanas in my life.As - > "SIYA RAM MAI SAB JAG JANI,KAREHU PRANAM JORI JUG PAANI". > > God bless > Shashie Shekhar > > > > > > > bhaskar_jyotish <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > SHRI SEKHAR BABU, > Ram ram, > > Sir it is better to criticise rather than remain secular, the > way secularism is used today. Afterall, system works through individuals. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji Nice to see a mail, close to heart. You made very thought provoking statements. We may choose to ignore / dislike our own criticism, but this approach will not help. Does jyotishi contribute to our laid back approach? or can jyotishi help in correcting this in national interest (may not be in line with commercial interest)? I am nobody to decide about mannerism of mails. Neither do I like moral policing. Each one of us are matured human beings, and must decide to suit our own personality. BTW, mithuna rashi in second house of India's chart also drives us for duality in our thoughts and speech. regards / Prafulla Gang "Hard work never killed anybody", but why take the risk! > > bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in > Mon, 07 Aug 2006 11:36:22 -0000 > > SPEAK FREELY > > Dear Prafullji, > > Since You have indicated me to speak freely, I can do so but > all of us may feel bad about it. Guest guest
Dear Prafullaji, You mentioned - ".....also drives us for duality in our thoughts and speech." This will be there for majority of us. We are living in the atmosphere created for us which is meant to be dual by the creator. Maybe the thoughts are not meant to be heard by all, lest they defile the seat where one may be, while speech may differ to respect the seat where one may be., ultimately the intentions and thoughts should be pure, whatever the speech may be, as they would ,apart from the duality in which we are born, also be influenced by the second house and influences (as You mentioned) present in a individuals horoscope. This duality will remain till the last until the individual through constant perseverance in meditation and proper yoga , is not able to open his third eye, the agyna chakra between the forehead, with beej akshar of So and Ham , but in this case regulated breathing and awareness acquired through purposeful treading on that path, the path of a Yogi. In my case, since I have not been able to achieve this nor seems possibility with my way of living and lack of practising the above preaching, there would unfortunately exist the duality which You assessed.
