OX Powered irrigation pump - Graham Saunders - Practical Action

I definitely would like to hear more about the status of the ox-powered

irrigation system at New Govardhana, as Pancaratna mentions.

In addition, as it happens, I just received notice today of a

publication entitled:

Developing draught animal equipment for irrigation, by Graham Saunders

which appeared in a publication called "Waterlines" 5(3)

published by "Practical Action" which many of you will remember as ITDG

(E.F. Schumacher's group -- actually Prabhupada spoke with Schumacher

once, but the exchange was pretty disappointing considering the

fundamental points that they agreed upon, like small-scale localized

economics)

-- But I can't really figure out how a person would get ahold of this

publications. Do we have any German devotees on this conference?

Water treatment will be a key component of Asto and Bala-Nitai's project

in DR Congo, so I'm interested in hearing whatever people have to say

about ox-powered irrigation systems
