Guest guest
Bhakta Shyam Pandey, who grew up at Juhu temple, Bombay, is now the webmaster of the New Vrindavan website. He resides at New Vrindavan. He also developed the Juhu temple website and ISKCON Baroda's website, www.iskconbaroda.com ============================================== http://www.shyiam.com/archives/63#more-63 Posted by Shyam: August 18th, 2006 Some unidentified person hacked our community website http://www.newvrindaban.com at 1:46 am today and placed the above message deleting all our data. How ever I managed to retrive most of the data manually, later opened a ticket with my host Site5.com. They assured me that they will revert back the site to its state on 17th Aug 2006 around 10 pm before this incident took place. This is very frustrating as now people have started making Religious Organisation target of their dirty cyber crime. I was asked by one of my close friends to even seek help of FBI and report this matter to their cyber crime cell. What you guys say about it? Written by: shyiam.com - » Religious websites getting Hacked — some solution Posted on: August 21st, 2006 at 11:38 am Recently there has been major hack terror attact by some Muslim militant outfits attacking a lot of Religious as well as social websites in United States. Our New Vrindaban community website got hacked hence my service provider provided me with some of the vital steps to prevent that. This morning I saw that iskconnews.net - an unofficial ISKCON news provider, also got hacked and thus I called Mr. Madhava Ghosh to let him know whats happening and he suggested to me that I should blog this solution on my site. I hope it may help you all too.
