Guest guest
It is all over Srila Prabhupada's books. Srila Prabhupada didn't write his books because he had nothing better to do or to entertain us by writing about Vedic/Brahminical culture, an old culture that had been relevant once in the past but not any more. This brahminical culture is obviously the end goal of our preaching. That is the social arrangement for maintaining Krishna consciousness all over the world. Just have a look at the passage from the Bhagavatam sent by Balabadra Prabhu (SB 8.24.5). Also please read the quotes I sent about Terrible Industrial Enterprises (http://www.sastradana.com/html/articles/terribleindustrialenterprises.htm). On top of that I also sent the text by Hridayananda Maharaja (http://www.sastradana.com/html/articles/varnashramahdg.htm). It seems pretty clear. Again, we use computers, cars, and other such products only to preach Krishna consciousness. But once you establish agrarian based civilization all over the world these things will start dying out. After all Srila Prabhupada said that "the modernized drilling of the earth to exploit oil from within is a sort of disturbance by the modern demons and can result in a greatly harmful reaction to the floating condition of the earth." Without that oil how can you have motor cars, car tires, and the rest of the plastic rubbish including computers? > Mahat-tattva Prabhu, > > I truly respect your personal opinions on this matter, but you have still > been unable to answer my question. > > Ascribing to Srila Prabhupada that he wanted “to bring the hellish > civilization to an end” is a very bold and personal statement on your > part.
