Dear devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

As mataji sanga has grown bigger in some parts of europe especially in

Croatia that now has 5 groups meeting regulary, we have jointly decided to

try to blow some life into this conferance again.

 

It is now somewhat difficult to write to all individually since we are now

so many of us who wants to stay connected.

 

I am lousy on computer work myself, so if anyone out there can help those

who wants join this conference its great.

 

I think bhn Maja from Zadar will ask her husband to help devotees there in

this regard so thats great if it works.

 

During the Licka festival in Croatia we had a 3 days sanga again. It is

becoming someting of a tradition that we hope will continue and grow.

Especially intresting feature was to hear the reports from the new groups.

It gave me a lot of new inspiration and ideas for future sangas. It also

proves that new devotees can take lead if nessecary.

 

Also in Slovenia we had a small sanga during padayatra this summer. There

are also mostly young matajis there in the temple of Ljubljana but they are

slowly organising themselves for sangas and bookdistribution.

 

Current topics of discussion has in general revolved around divorce and

family life as such. It is a very big and rellevant topic and it seems that

we have hardly begun to understand what Srila Prabhupada was expecting from

us in this regard. Luckily we have a lot of information from him on this,

and to learn it is easier when we practice together and share realizations

and experiences. Education of our children is another big topic that we have

hardly tuchted on. Further, many devotees living outside wants to do some

active service so thats another good reson to organise sangas.

 

In Czech Republic sanga has been down over the summer since we didnt get

permission from national counsil to meet during the campfestival in

Protivanov. [pity]. But soon we start our regular sangas here again.

 

Exeption was the sponsored children festival on Nrsimha Ksetra in the

beginning of summer where all the mothers and children met daily and had

programs together for a week. It was most wonderful, like last year, we did

the temple programs in the morning together. Then mothers took turns to

engage all children during the day with play and games. They also did

painting and glue picture collage. They did dough models [many nice deitys]

wich was baked and painted. We where lucky with the weather so many

afternoons we went swimming in a nearby lake before Gaura arotic.

 

Lord Nrsimha Deva was most mercyful and seemed to like it to have so many

children around him [ca 20]. We had some great kirtans and both mothers and

children were leading. We were all in the mood of Prahlada Maharaja.

 

We hope to continue this every year and maybe mothers and fathers from other

places would like to join us.
