It's the "non different" that confuses the sentence.

 

"A pure devotee's pleasure is based on, and wholly infused with, an

intrinsic attitude of service to his worshipable Lord."

 

I'm not sure where the "non different" comes in....

Neither required nor preferable. Just wrong.

Doesn't confuse me. Of course, it's a little puzzling to say a pure

devotee's pleasure is nondifferent from an intrinsic attitude of service to

his Lord, but "nondifferent" itself immediately puts us in the realm of the

inconceivable, as in acintya-bhedabheda-tattva. Grammatically, the whole

sentence works fine without the final comma, as far as I can tell.
