Namasted Beloved Family,

Today we are celebrating the Full Moon - Usually on Full Moon it is great to do Satya

Narayana Katha - This is in Swamiji's Satya Narayana and Vishnu Sahasranaam book. We

take a vow to speak the truth. Swamiji says the puja is just the beginning - of the vow to

be in Truth.

In Shravan month full moon - we also celebrate "Rakshabandhan" - it is a festival in which

sisters and brothers get together. Sisters tie a "rakhi" (it is a bracelet made of strings and

little decorations) to their brother's wrist and give them sweets. Brothers promise to do

'raksha" (protect) their sisters. "Rakshabandhan" literally means the bond of protection.

There are many beautiful stories of rakshabandan through the ages.

So if you are wondering what to do this evening - you can share your love with your

siblings and read the beautiful SatyaNarayana story to get inspiration to live in truth!! :-)

Jai Maa!
