They fast the whole day and sing and dance in the evening and break the fast with His prasad. It is a lot of fun to chant the Bhagavad Gita and/or read from the Srimad Bhagavatam while we are waiting for Him to come. The prasad that we offer to Krishna almost surely will have lots of butter and milk! ... Jai Sri Krishna! Jai Govinda Gopala Murari!!! Dear ramya and all ~ I am glad I am reading the digest and so glad to know that today is Krishna's birthday! I LOVE Krishna. I once had a little silver statuette of Krishna, the Butter Thief, and the Krishna in the statuette was posed as if crawling across the floor, an infant, but with his peacock feather and holding one hand up with a butter ball in it. I loved that. I have always wondered what Murari means. Perhaps you can tell me. Krishna Ki Jai ~ Linda
