Dear devotee ~ interesting that you should choose this post, which reminds me what I long for and will never have in my current relationship. In the past, my own connection to the Divine was enough, and whether or not my partner was "plugged in" didn't seem to matter (although I have found out in later years that it did; some resented my spiritual practices). Now it seems to be the crux or foundation that is necessary if a relationship is to thrive and grow. I don't know what Divine Mother and Father have in store for me, but I do know it is time to take my hands off the wheel and let them do the driving.
