Guest guest
Hello everyone, This is my first post here, I am new to the group and to the website. The topics seem to be what has been going on in my life. I have been living with a sad and painful heart the past few months or less. A recent breakup with a loved one is so difficult and very hard. It is a slow process to feel everyday this sadness and depression. I was led to the Divine Mother and have been reading the Chandi P. with much love and devotion. It has helped me and I will continue to read and try to understand and have faith in it and the Goddess. I also have studied vedic astrology and I was suppose to be in a period when love and marraige would come, which it did. Only to last one and a half years though. When we worked on the chart I guess that was as far ahead as we got. I am in a Saturn period and it has been rough. Saturn is lord of my 8th and 9th house and placed with Moon in the 4th which is the home and the heart. So I have been blessed with devotion to God and a marraige and also have had the severe challenges to this area also. How do we offset this karma? When one wishes for so long for a devoted wife and a loving partner, is granted that wish and then it dissappears is tough. In the book Chandi it says that devotion to Maa can take away the difficult planetary aspects. I also read a post in the gems article that doing puja to Lord Shiva for 16 Mondays will also help. With a difficult chart I believe that the grace of God can help with the karma. Is it neccesary that we ask for it even if God already knows what is in our heart, then why even try? Is it to develop faith and devotion? this painful experience is the most challenging in my 50 years and it has certainly gave me a wake up call. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Namaste Gary and welcome! I believe any japa and chanting the Chandi will help. also if you haven't heard, Shree Maa has urged us to take the Earth Mother Sankalpa where we do a certain number of malas for each planet. It is meant to help bring peace on Earth, but it won't hurt your personal situation, either ; ) All the info is on the website. All the best to you. Guest guest
Hi Gary, I am sorry to hear about your loss. May God bless you. I am afraid my knowledge of astrology is so limited as to be nearly nonexistant. As I'm sure you know, the purpose of life is to achieve realization. When one begins to dedicate one's self to that task I believe the universe itself (Divine Mother) bends down to help the little sadhaka. Doing thirty pujas or ten-thousand mantras may indeed help balance the planetary influences, but how much greater is the grace of God and gurudeva for the faithful devotee.
