Guest guest
There is a very real need for a yoga studio in my home town in Central Vermont. I have the perfect location but need to find a talented instructor who wants to relocate to Vermont and build a new business. Any suggestions as to how I can find someone? Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Sarita, What do you have in mind? What kind of space do you have? How do you plan to work with the yoga teacher(s)....equal business partners, you being the owner/manager and the teachers teaching? Where are you in Vermont? What is the town like? I'm not sure if I would be interested but one never knows. My husband and I have a yoga studio in Paris France however, we could think of moving back to North American one day. Guest guest
Hi Linda, We have about 1800 sq. ft. of ground floor commercial space in an 1840's historic brownstone building. There is also a large basement area that could be retro-fitted for massage rooms etc. The building used to house a teen lounge/video arcade center but that has closed down. Ideally, I would just like to be a landlord and have a yoga studio/wellness center as a long term tenant. Neither my husband nor I have any experience in running a yoga studio. We are strictly real estate property managers. There is a need for something like this in our town of 6000 people. St. Johnsbury is a beautiful Victorian town considered the "Gateway to the Northeast Kingdom", Vermont's most beautiful, rural, unspoilt area. It is home to a world famous private high school and it also has a large hospital affiliated with Dartmouth College which is 45 minutes away in New Hampshire. There is also a state college of 2000 students about 20 minutes from downtown St. Johnsbury. If you go ahead and google "St. Johnsbury" you'll find a number of sites with information on our lovely quaint town.
