FEEL THE GURU AMONGST US

Dear Friends,

When our great Guru was in the human form told His followers N number of times that one should not look at the name and form alone. One should see the "person" inside the outer cover. Even when some one calls the animals and birds in singular, He would prompt him to call she/he, as if that self was in human form.

When our Guru was ill, His body started shivering heavily. A devotee who happened to see this shouted "Ayoo odambu odambu" (Ho !! the body body !!) Bhagavn sharply replied " what body body?? mmm?? Until now I was like shiva and now that my body is shivering I have become Nataraja - the dancing God !!

He more than once insisted that one should not see the outer frame and showed His resentment when some one "advised" Bhagavan to cure His disease Himself. When we call "it is my shift", the shift and Me are different. Likewise when we say "my body" naturally the body and me are different.

Therefore, eventhough our Bhagavan had shed His sthula sareera - His physical form, He is very much with us as He is omnipresent and omnipotent - while typing this mail and while reading this mail too - He is present with every one of us.

We must, surely, FEEL Bhagavan's presence at all times, which brings us immense peace and solace and a sense of security in our daily activities.

What a beautiful statement! I request help from the learned

members in showing the path and methodology to transform this idea

into an actual fact and a living experience.

Dear Sri Sreenivasa,

Now where will you find Bhagavan's presence?

Is it a bodily expereince?

Is it a sensory experience?

Is it a mental experience?

Or is it deeper within?

Not two,

Richard

Mr.Richard Clarke's questions are based on our Bhagavan's edification "FIND THE SELF". It only makes us firm in our pursuit to dive deep within and find the self so as to remain as "being". I am immensly pleased that I am with the persons who are in the path of self enquiry (my friend will again ask who is happy.

Dear Sri Richard Clarke

Pranams to you.

Is Bhagavan's presence an experience at all? An experience is something which comes and goes. Is Bhagavan's presence something which comes and goes ? Please ponder over deeply and thoroughly. I will give you two hints:

(a) Bhagavan's last words : WHERE AM I GOING? I AM HERE.

(b) Bhagavan has said :" It is not worth trying for a thing which

comes and goes. What comes and goes is not eternal".

Please enquire within yourself and arrive at the right conclusion and let

me know. Thanking you,

Ever yours in Bhagavan,

Sreenivasa Murthy

Namaskarams Murthigaru,

You are absolutely right. Where to go and come when our Bhagavan is omnipresent. Only thing is, the awareness of the presence of Bhagavan. We are not hermits dwelling in the thought of God/Guru. We lead materialistic life with our family and in the mele, time and again forget even the very purpose of our existence. These experiences make us feel the unseen presence of Guru.

Even in our epics, the Avtars did so many leelas. In Rama Avtar, killing Ravana is as simple as breaking a sandy pebble. Everyone knows how many incidents and how many characters appeared in Ramanayana before killing Ravana the demon king took place finally in Lanka.

Likewise, in a sadhakas life so many miracles happen to prove the presence of Guru. If one becomes "that", no need to become a member of this group at all.

We must have read in Ramana literature one incident as to how our Bhagavan appeared in the dream of Ashram Doctor when he prayed to our Bhagavan when every one in the Ashram criticised the Doctor for not curing Bhagavan's continous cough. Bhagavan told the Doctor in the dream to prepare a Ayurveda medicine made out of some roots and leaves of the plant available in the backyard of the Doctor's house.

Interestingly, next day morning when the Doctor appeared before Bhagavan, our Guru asked the Doctor stretching out His hands "give me what you have brought". He ate the "medicine" prepared as instructed by Him in the dream to the Doctor and got rid of the cough.

Such incidents do happen in a Bhakta's life to enjoy the Guru's leelas. Who is the enjoyer follows the enjoyment to push us further deep into the pursuit of self.

Vanakkam!

the habits of the mind are hard to break because externalising is it's habit. Bhagawan has always said that one needs the Grace on this path. just internalise intensely and that will be just the "beginning"......

experiences WILL vary from one self to another.....
