Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya! Every verse in Arunala Akshara Mana Maalai can be referred to an experience in the life of this writer. Read Verse 6 : EANDRIDUM ANNAYIR PERIDARUL PURIVOI IDUVO UNATHARUL ARUNACHALA - means O ! One who takes care more than a mother who gave birth to me, is this your grace - Arunachala!! (Here you see it can be either a question or an exclamation depending upon the experience of the person). I visited 2nd time Ramanashram during end 1991 (first being in July the same year). Though I was not staying at Ashram, I was kindly invited to partake the afternoon Bhagavath Prasad through respected Shri Mani. I was sitting and praying at the old hall until the lunch time and when the bell was sounded, I got up and went to the dining hall. A volunteer prevented me from entering stating that I was not stayinng in Ashram. At that very moment, Shri Mani appeared there from nowhere to request that volunteer to permit me. Nothing special in this my friends - keep reading. Food was served and I finished Rasam rice (paruppu rasam is famous in our Ashram) and waiting for butter milk to come. A volunteer was bringing in a big vessel an item akin to plain rice. You all know that our bhagavan would insist not to waste food and hence since I had enough plain rice, I made a gesture with both of my hands to say NO. The volunteer looked at me for a second and moved away. Friends, here works the perennial care of our eternal Bhagavan. Shri Mani, who was talking to a foreign woman devotee at a distance, watched this and came rushing to me. "Look, serve Bhagavat Prasadam to him" shouted Shri Mani at the volunteer "He would only refused" replied the vlunteer. "Avaru vendamna Vittudaratha" (If he says No, how can you leave as it is?) retarded Shri Mani and told me in a kind voice "Ganesh this is Pongal, offered to Bhagavan as Neivedyam - take". As long as we are in this physical form, Bhagavan's invisible grace should also work through a name and form. It worked on that occasion through Shri Mani!!. See the timing. My refusal and Shri Mani's turning to my side to observe this coincided so miraculously with the grace of our Guru that I got the Prasadam. I could hardly control my tears. With welling eyes I straight away went to the Samathi of Bhagavan only to remember the above Verse. Bhagavan not only fed me to my fill but offered His holy Prashad also with so much of love more than a mother can show. Ramanaarpanam. Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Shri Ramanaya! A similsr experiance like that of Mr.Ganesh Ramachandran. My sister and brother-in-law were blessed to partake of Bhagavan's food(ashram food) on one of our visits to the ashram.I was a bit sad that i could not do so.But immediately it occured to me that if i deserve something Bhagavan would definately not deny me of it and forgot about it.Two years later when i happened to go to the ashram i got the opportunity to eat there quite unexpectedly,It was a sunday and there was a large spread that i had to refuse the butter milk as i had eaten everything that was served not wanting to waste. The menu ranged from a special pulav, two poriyals, payasam, vadai, sambar, rasam and butter milk.Tears welled up when i was washing my hands.I just wanted a simple food in the ashram as Bhagavan's prasad but look at Bhagavan He gave me a huge meal.So when we seek His Grace for something He might give it, but if He has to give something it is bountiful that we are not in a position to even receive it(like how i could not have the buttermilk as i was too full). True!. Though formless Bhagavan still manifests His Grace in many ways.A love that surpasses even a motherly love. Om Namo Bhagavate Shri Ramanaya! Guest guest
My dear sister Priya, Words seldom are adequate enough to express the Santhosham thhat we have when we realize that Bhagavan listens our prayers and responds at the appropriate time. We are blessed with our matchless Guru - Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. In His family. we children always bask in the warm of His divine love. Ramanaarpanam !
