Is that too much to request in such an exchange as this? Which if you ask me is as pointless as a circle. Maha, you do tend to rant. I understand. My big rant used to be McDonalds and consumerism, now I get hungry, see a McDonald's and just eat. I have lost my mind. But I also no longer rant. May you be also so happy. And get your fill at the same time. Peace.
Guest guest
Hi there! I have just reading some of your last posts and have a question. How does one know for sure their Kundalini is awakened within them? There must be way to know, as some here claim that they are witnesses of Mother Kundalini being their Guru and not only on the sublte level.... I wish also to tell this. There seems to be a lot of confusion here about Kundalini, spirit possesion, laya yoga, the Devi etc. while the Truth is one .It is true that the many ancient master, rishis, sages, saints, prophets and even Divine Incarnations gave us different parts of the Whole Picture, took maybe some different approaches and now the different systems seem to different.Let me tell you a story : There are two blind people walking. They approach something and stop. They touch it.One says it is a snake, the other it is a tree. One who sees, passes and without touching it,he said "It's an elephant".Understand the point? Regarding the different ways it was our "pet guru" sri Amritanandanatha who said : "So if you follow, say, the path of Sufism, you'll gain a particular sort of experience. But will it be identical to the experience one gained by Shankaracharya or by a Vamachari? No, they'll be totally different. Just as the experience gained by a plant in meditating and in reaching God will be totally different from that of a human being, which is in turn totally different from that of a sage or a Deity." Applied to the particular instance ,kundalini, you will have a different experiences according to which methods you study with what teacher. Hatha Yoga results will be different from Kriya Yoga the bhakti path will give different results according to which deity you are devoted to and which chakra or chakras you will awake her in. She is not always symbolised as a female force, for the atharvanic shaivas she is accessible under the symbol of the 11 Rudras. For the Bauddha mata she appears as chandali or Nairatma the fire in the manipura chakra. So it is best you ask your Guru how you will notice her appearance during the prescribed sadhana. If you have no Guru it is better you do not do any practices connected with Kundalini, in this case the question of how to know waht are the signs is academic and can only be answered very individually because each path differs considerably.
