thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

United with Your devotees, I was just enjoying then;

Many time passed; Misery got in, later days;

Oh Master, I got dried out! I languished to see

the Endless Splendor of Bliss;

Please bless so that I, the slave, get the zeal!

Notes:

1. The saint recollects here the glorious time he

was along with the Holy guru and the disciples.

He laments the separation from that holy company

and pleads to get the union with Lord shiva.

2. Once the glory of God is known and one is firm

to seek only That, it is the love that is needed to

keep the soul in Bliss. The saint seeks that love

all through this padhikam. (This padhikam is nicely

subtitled as sadhA mukthi)

3. c.f. anbu Inum ArvamuDaimai - kuRaL

4. vALA - silent/just; ulavA - endless.
