thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

I won't be afraid of shining snake in the ant-hill;

I won't be afraid of the truth of the liars either;

Having sought the feet of our Reverend

with braids of matted hair, One with fore-head eye,

thinks, "There is another god" and has not

come out of anything else - such people we are afraid of!

Notes:

1. All those things even if they are harmful, for the

wise who has understood them does not frighten.

It is the company of those who have no sincerity

to God, but act as if they do, that is highly harmful.

2. vALaravu - glistening snake; aRRal - be free from everything else.
