Peace to you all.

My name is Tyra. I have been practicing yoga for several years off

and one. I have recently decided to step up my devotion to the yogic

path and have begun chanting mantras. Recently, I had a vision in

which Kali claimed me as her own. I have really been feeling her

energy surrounding me. I also had a dream in which I was told to

consult the Dakini, who I knew nothing about prior to that dream.

Needless to say, I am seeking to connect with other Kali devotees

because I am all caught up by her right now and loving every minute of

it. I look foward to connecting with you all and will review the

archives before I ask any questions.

Namaskar Tyra,

I too had a dream about Kali when I decided to step my devotions. I

was not focusing on the goddess at the time, but Shiva. Nevertheless,

the goddess spoke to me and told me to put on a garment which I always

had, and which had her image on it. If I wore it I would become her.

I'm still not exactly sure what I am supposed to do, but I do feel her

presence and feel a strong devotion to her.

I am an american woman not raised in Hindu traditions so this is very

special for me. What about you? Are you Hindu? What nationality? I

would like to know more about you because I keep hearing about these

darshans happening to non-Hindus, which are drawing us into the

observation of Hindu practice. I think it is very exciting. Pleased

to meet you, hope to hear more soon.

Celeste,

I too have had dream/visions of Kali Ma and Durga. They Have both

assisted me in spiritual warfares. I actually saw a vision of Kali Ma

while at a spiritual mass. I was wide awake!!!! I am assuming that

since my channels were open, she took it upon herself to make an

impression. At that same gathering, someone else also caught sight of

her. They are not familiar with Hindu Diety therefore they were rather

alarmed. They described as standing before me, performing a dance of

sorts. Nevertheless, I did not fret. I figured she was giving me the

verification I had asked of her days prior.

As yourself, I too am not a practioner of Hinduism. I have had an

affinity for it for as long as I can remember. I am unsure of what all

of this means but appreciate the help from the greater powers that be!

Peace Celesst,

I too am American living in the Bible Belt of Tennesse if you can

believe that. Wasn't even really looking for Kali. She found me.

I was raised Catholic. Have been going to Baptist church for years,

especially since my hubby has become a Christian minister. However,

for the last 9 years, I have been on a spiritual journey back to the

realization that I am Goddess cloaked in flesh. I have been

studying the teachings of African, Native American and Buddhist

traditions. REally, I study whatever resonates most with me so I

have looked at it all. Here lately I am really into the science of

manifestation and yoga.

I am one who is into understanding the Feminine aspect of God, the

Goddess and have been immersed in those studies also. REally, it is

these studies that have lead me to learn so much about the Universe

and how it works. One night I was surfing the net and found a

picture of Kali coupled with a poem that contained her mantra (or

one of her mantras) Kali Ma. Om Kali. Kali Ma. The picture was

called birth of a Goddess and it and the mantra enthralled me. I

had been chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo prior to finding this picture

and knew that there was something in that mantra that would open the

deeper mysteries within me. I feel that the deeper mystery that was

opened was Kali.

I am truly in the midst of transformation and Kali is the one who is

facitating this process.

I have no idea where I am going with this and look forward to

connecting with Kali's energy more.

Thanks so much to you and everyone who have welcomed me. please

let's stay in touch!

Peace and Love

Tyra

hey! i live in the bible belt in florida, although i was never actually christian myself. i had reached a point of utter despair and fell asleep asking the universe for help. Kali came to me in my dreams and claimed me for Her own. this was just a couple of days ago so i still have a lot to learn about Her.
