Our whole life is involved in acive verbs - doing from morning to night and from birth to death. Every active verb we use or involved with we end up in misuse than use, due to confusion of our true nature as Dennis pointed out, where there is no doing but being. All vasanas arise from doing (kartRitva bhaava). When we shift from doing to being, where in 'being' there is no action involved; but there the essential truth lies and we shift from adjaective to noun - and there lies our transcendece from confusion to knowledge. Just 'being' while 'doing' is going to be the ultimate knowledge. I am sure our English professor Dennis will clarify all this confusion of verbs, nouns and adjectives! Hari OM!
