Pranams to all.

Here are a few pointers for cognition and not meant for discussion:

The process of creation, being anterior to the rise of the intellect, is transcedental. To bring it within the jurisdiction of the intellect is ultra vires.

The many never proceeded or issued from the ONE.

The intuition of Pure Consciousness enables us to destroy the world from a transcedental view which lifts us beyond the empirical. From this stand point

There is not,

There never was,

And there never will be

a world existing as a second to the only REALITY,

Viz. Pure Consciousness.

The states ( waking and dream states) give rise to the worlds

but no world can give rise to the states.

A state includes its world, while the world cannot include the states.

What is the common element in the waking and dream states?

Not the physical body, the senses, the mind, the objects or

even the ego, for the behaviour of the mind and the senses was

peculiar in each state and the body and the objects were

certainly not identical.

THE ONLY CONSTANT FACTOR IN BOTH IS LIFE

OR

UNDIFFERENTIATED CONSCIOUSNESS.

The above pointers helped me in my Vedantic journey and I thought that it is worth sharing with the like minded members. Hence this posting.

At the outset please permit me to correct you. If you had seen my posting correctly you would have known that my name is Sreenivasa Murthy and not

Narayana Murthy as stated by you. The same error of not seeing correctly has been commited in going through the rest of the posting. The Truth or Reality does not depend upon the scriptures or any Acharya . Yet it has to be acquired through the grace of the Guru. I request you kindly study the following books under a competant Goru to understand the Avasthatraya Prakriya clearly and correctly:

(a) Mandukya Upanishad with Sri Shankara's commentary.

(b) Mandukyarahasyavivrittih By His Holiness SrISri SaccidAnandEndrasaraswamy. This is a work in Sanskrit.

© Paramarthachitamani. Author-same as above. This is a work in kannada.

(d) Shankaravedantasaurabha . A work in Kannada written by Sri Devarao Kulkarni.

(e) Gaudapadahridaya. A work in Kannada written by SriSri Swamiji.

(f ) Vedanta or the science of Reality By Sri K.A. Krishnaswami Iyyer.

(g) God Realisation Through Reason By Swami Ishwarananda.

After studying and digesting them you yourself will realise how erroneous you are in your conclusions and observations. My only request to you is to study with an open mind, to study without any sectarian or theological preconceived notions.

What you have written has many flaws in it which will remain unknown if we followed your advice

and not discussed them.

Upanishats never taught Brahman became this world. It only said, He took many forms to be

the Controller in those created many objects. So, the "One became many" of the upanishats

teach the one form of Brahman taking on many different Controller forms. Upanishat goes further

and teaches that there is absolutely no difference between one Controller form of Parabrahman vs

another Controller form of Parabrahman.

Advaita vedAnta has been quite wrong in its understanding and teaching of those upanishats.

Your deepsleep is a clueless state as far as you are concerned. From such a state, you

can neither conclude the existence of identity nor the existence of non-identity. Either one would

be a mere speculation.

VedAnta of Sri VedavyAsa and speculations are quite different and are mostly irrelevant to each other.

Failing to recognize this truth is another major flaw, especially

in neo-vedAnta of modern times.

Try rewriting your paragraphs quoting geethA, sootras and vedOpanishats. You will understand

what I am trying to say.

Can you really write something without Sri VedavyAsa, and call it VedAnta ?. I don't think so.
