That comes later after you've done some work with yourself and you reach another level where thoughts no longer matter. For now the goal of meditation is simply to observe how your mind works and to notice where your concerns are. Then simply choose to not be concerned. Choose not to engage with the thoughts. Don't even think of them as your thoughts, your concerns. They are just thoughts like there are clouds in your field of vision when you look up at the sky. Don't engage with them. Notice how you get tricked and you still engage with thoughts. Notice, be a witness of your own mind. And choose not to be a slave of it. Practice. Give those thoughts and concerns to God. Every time you feel negative, give your thoughts to God. Notice and practice. One trick I use is to pay attention to what is going on in my body. I notice thoughts but go back to my body, go back to my body, and experience and just experience, and breathe, and breathe. and then guidance starts coming. Then I listen and listen.
