Guest guest
Sat Naam jis, Wishing you all wonderful sadhanas once again. I am on Day 36 of Ra Ma Da Sa healing meditation and don't want to stop at 40 at this point! I have definitely been experiencing the benefits & effects of a daily practice, and this is only the beginning. I feel the changes in my mental approach and all the strati of my mind re-training and balancing. I have started a new 40-day of Prosperity Meditation with a fellow yoga teacher here in Oakland as well. Thanks for all your support and messages on the list; it is the only way I am able to feel practicing two sadhanas at once is actually possible WAHE GURU! om shanthi ranjit k. Guest guest
Sat Nam All: Sadhana, today is the 1st day of Seraba Sud Kriya. One of the benefits of this kriya is to set the physical plane in order. Today I ended a romantic relationship with love, great sadness and as much grace as I could muster. Sometimes my idea of order needs to be surrendered for the higher good. Doing my meditation this evening I saw how the pain washed over me when I allowed my mind to wander into what was, what I was going to tell other people, the garden we just planted, anywhere but in my body. sitting on my mat. When I stayed with my breath and mantra, I was able to experience a rich feeling without my throat constricting. The reason for ending was his lack of any wllingness to commit to grow our relationship into a life long affair. I am so grateful to have the commitment of Sadhana. I am also doing a prosperity meditation, day 26. Two are possible, perhaps necessary for some of us! Keep Up! Guest guest
Sat Naam, ji! Great news about your sadhana. I am on Day 38 of the Healing Gaitri and back to Day 2 with my Prosperity Meditation. This time I started on the New Moon so hopefully that energy will help me keep up with it better. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Everyone, Guru Gopal Kaur, I was touched by the honesty of your words and the radiance shimmering below the surface of the pain you are just now passing through. I want to encourage you by saying that I have done my sadhana MANY TIMES while in tears, and I have found it helpful to allow the two tracks of feeling pain and of practicing to exist side-by-side and to exercise the discipline of using the one as a balm on the other. As you say, it's not helpful to get lost in remembering (the past) or to anticipate the story you will tell others (the future). But if in the being in your body, on your mat, here and now, you feel pain, if you can, without engaging your intellect or activating your emotions, feel the fullness of the pain and then feel/visualize your breath or the mantra enveloping it and transforming it -- that can be a very powerful practice. To do that for a minute or two and then let it go, return completely to the breath or mantra, and then when the hurt nudges you again, to give it your full attention and apply the practice to it, acknowledging it, being completely present to it in the moment it appears, and yet not letting it have the final word, not leaving it as you found it, so to speak . . . Sadhana is truly a great comfort and a powerful tool in such times. May your heart be completely healed and may you know peace, peace, peace . . . Blessings, Nirvair Kaur Kundaliniyoga, joan richards <joancarol wrote: Sat Nam All: . . . Today I ended a romantic relationship with love, great sadness and as much grace as I could muster.
