Guest guest
Aloha Nadya....I have been taught by a wise person to go into my fears and live them out completely in my being. Cry, imagine all those fears. Get into it. And then release it, tell yourself they are only your fears and not reality. It seems doing the emotional part of it is what is helpful to your organism. Doing this will help with the panic that escalates if you don't go completely into your fears. And meditation and kundalini, yes! Do both of these methods....I hope this helps. It has been very helpful for me. Guest guest
Dear Nadya: It depends what kind of fears and panics you are talking about. Look at the archives, there are lots of e-mails that were sent relating to anxiety for instance you may want to read. Something else I might suggest is to look at the fear straight in the eyes, let it attack you, let it come in, sit with it, until the fear does not intimidate you anymore. Guest guest
Sat Nam, I also have a Query regarding mental state. Today i inadvertantly saw a very Violent movie and i walked away in the middle of the movie, is it that iam becoming more untolerant to such movies , after i have started practising KY?My Friends started teasing me that its just a movie, but i came home and did some SAt Nam and felt relaxed mentally. But i fear that this violence shown in the screen would affect me subconciously(say in my dreams, while i meditate etc.,). pls tell me as how to cope up with such sudden mental shocks. What is the method of coping up with such things? Praticing KY we become more sensitive, since we try to be in touch, day after day, with our true self....i think this is the key. > My Friends started teasing me that its > just a movie, but i came home and did some SAt Nam and felt relaxed > mentally. But i fear that this violence shown in the screen would > affect me subconciously(say in my dreams, while i meditate etc.,). > pls tell me as how to cope up with such sudden mental shocks. What is > the method of coping up with such things? I've found online this meditation (but there are many others working to relax and calm the mind): http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/yb.nsf/Med-TranquilizeTheMind.jpg ......also you can calm your mind by your long and deep breathing (being focused on a mantra - i.e. Sat Nam).
