Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, Given the news regarding the latest terrorist attempt, we all probably should be sitting under a tree chanting. http://www.comcast.net/news/international/index.jsp?cat=INTERNATIONAL&fn=/2006/08/10/452902.html&cvqh=plot_main Anyone up for chanting at a specific time? Guest guest
--- Personally for me, I don't think its healthy to believe ONE word a politicians or gov't says. Politicians & gov'ts are into manipulation and control-two things I want no part of!!!!!!
Guest guest
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't know what a thwarted terrorist attack has to do with politicians???????? Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, I have also been feeling very strongly that the world is especially in need of some strong prayer right now, especially over the past few months or so...and that feeling just seems to keep getting stronger and stronger. Amma has also intimated that the state of the world is pretty bleak at the moment, and in severe need of prayer and grace. It's so easy to forget what is going on on this planet of ours at every moment. As I type this post, someone is being shot, someone has lost their child to a bomb....and on and on. It's hard to keep an awareness of this while engaged in the day to day and in the "self". But if we realize that there is no "self", and we are all one....then the grief that a woman is experiencing in Lebanon right now is OUR grief as well. Let us pray that Love is awakened in the hearts of ALL. There is no other way. We are on this earth for such a short time. What will we have left it as an offering when our time here is done? Maybe our prayers for the sake of the world and for the sake of love IN the world can be that offering. Lord knows, the world needs all the help it can get right now. Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu. Om Shanti. Shanti. Shanti. Guest guest
I would be totally into having a coordinated e-satsang chant for world peace at this time. Has this been done before? It would be so cool to know that many of us were chanting at the same time! Ever In Her, carma
