Guest guest
Om Amriteswarye Namah Jai Jai Ma!!!! Dear Surya: Whether it be the moderator, a flaming Y Satsang Member, the flamers supporters or detractors they can all be examined with dispassion if we keep our emotions in equi-poise. Amma says never "react" but instead "respond". Will attempt to convey clarity on the issue of when to get involved in someone elses dispute and when it is more prudent to just be a witness there. Will use for illustrative device of a flamer on this Group to (hopefully) add a small ray of light. In all humility, it is felt that the key to analyzing whether I have a duty to defend someone being flamed here is Amma's key-word on the 2006 North America tour DHARMA. IMHO, if Dharma is being attacked then it may be appropriate to intervene. If attacking the reputation of a Swami or Brahmachari is ADHARMIC against Dharma) and it is within my sphere to help the cause of Dharma then by all means I could jump in to the controversy. That us up to each group member according to her view of what is an affront to Dharma. There are many views on when Dharma is or is not in play. Sanatani shot arrows of water balloons at the Flamers fire laden arrows. Love conquers, have you not seen this ingredient in Mothers cosmic play? The issue of whether Dharma is in play when Br. Dayamarita is maligned depends a capacity to discriminate properly. My two cents worth of feedback breaks it down into two components. ((once cent worth of advise for each)} If it is a dispute over "principles" do not intervene. However if it is a dispute that violates Dharma and you can contribute to restoring Dharma (implying you will use the proper means and proper tone) then by all means go ahead and fight. Fight with the language of love. Fight the way Amma fights. Amma fights by disarming us with radiant nectarous LOVE. The Flamer generally will not listen to those he perceives to be Robotic peons. So offering Flamers to Amma's feet may be a military tactic (of sorts). Offering any problem no matter how disturbing is all right. Amma is THE River of Love - so deposit fiery flaming arrows to Her River. Always offer everything to God. Everything includes the onerous. In Summary: If it is Principle? Just observe. Be Kool! Chill baby Chill Dharma? Defend Dharma to the max! Amma came down to this gross Kali Yuga infected plane to restore Dharma. Ditto Sri Krishna. IMHO Defend Dharma the way She does. The way the Mystics do. The way Jesus did. Namah Shivaya, Chitanand P.S. Restraint takes more strength than aggression. The weak resort to arms. Guest guest
I would tend to agree with you on most if not all points, but I think there is nothing wrong with discussion in a forum like this. Often times the problem is that the tone of the author can not always be ascertained properly through email, and often is not. This has happened to me on both the writing and reading ends many times. Also nothing wrong with having a little fun.... I like to joke around and have fun. Most that know me, know this. Amma certainly like to do this as well... ;-) Jai Maa!
