I haven't been following the line of discussion that prompted your email, but I agree wholeheartedly that remembering to treat this forum as a place of love and holiness uplifts all those who participate with devotion. Your words beautfully reflect your feeling of reverence for your guru. Thank you for reminding us that the world is as we see it and is affected by the vantage point of our response to it. Guest guest
This is not an official organ of the MA Center or Amritapuri, though the sadhaks and sevites in San Ramon, CA and Kollam District, Kerala may be aware of its existence. Consequently, the standard disclaimer applies: the opinions expressed in this group are the sender's own and do not necessarily represent those of the MA Center, Amritapuri ashram, the Amma Foundation of Canada, or any other Amma organization. > > We have seen so many regulars > drop out over the years - > A sub group of former regulars > like Yogaman and Kenna rarely > post these days. Kenna and others may have some good reasons for not posting in a while.. like a fulltime job or commitments to their biological families limiting the time they can spend online.. the content of recent messages and the tomgull-bashing might not be to blame. > > Words have power. Guest guest
Manoj, Your desire for a holy sphere of communication is being echoed all around this . Just a thought, but I happen use amritapuri.org as my browser's "home page," so that each time I want to, I get direct guidance from Amma in the form of those floating quotes. Also, Sweta posted the new ammaww.org portal a few days ago, which is intended as a satsang space. It is not formally controlled by Mother or the Ashram, but a service project of a devotee/s. I understood from discussions last summer with the NYC satsang around Guru Purnima, that Mother would not have either Amrita T.V. or the electronic communities function as direct off-shoots of her charitable projects. For what reasons, I am not recalling or able to speculate upon at the moment. Although they made sense to me then. Last night, the sky after dusk was so gorgeously blue here. Definitely like the colour of Krishna or Indra or "Gods and Goddesses," and almost every cloud that passed overhead seemed to have Amma's form holding a child to her shoulder, or a heart-shaped hole for the angels to look down upon us through. Awed by the third or fourth heart shape, I let go of the anxiety and worries, relaxed, and felt Her presence for such a moment. And at that moment of awareness, a little moth landed on my knee, then flew a bit closer to my face, as if to say "Yes, I am here." Inspiration and Guidance from our Mother is everywhere, if we only would pay attention. And it is far easier to achieve that concentration when this room is peaceful and loving, that is for sure!!! loveprashanti
