Guest guest
I just noticed VA_astro_list has crossed 78,000+ mails till date. The objectives of this group were to Openly Discuss astro subjects. Can anyone tell or predict ( mathematically or astrologically by way of Prasna ), the possible guess-estimates on following parameters: a) What percentage has of 78,000+ were genuine astro discussion related b) What is the percentage of variety of topics that have been discussed till date ( ayanamsha, aspects, bhava vs equal house..etc ) c) What percentage of email debates were truly had depth d) What percentage are "reading requests" e) What percentage of mails were really moderated for vedic astrology to really progress, it is necessary to occassionally look at this unique opportunity of community, and its value utilization !! Any ways or methods of arriving at the "guess-estimates" either through conventional mathematics or prasna would welcome. sreeram srinivas sreeram64 (AT) satyam (DOT) net.in
Guest guest
Dear srinivas, I am sure one can do it if you supply the birth chart of the group or even the prasna chart. The 4th (connections with social beings) or the 7th house (relationships) should be seen in this regard. How ever, i am sure the number of qualitative posts would diminish during the retro mercury periods. BV Raman deals with a question in his books WHEN one will recieve a letter. I think same principles should be applied here to discuss the timing and quality of the posts, suitably modified. regards, Kishore patnaik On 8/16/06, Sre_eram <sreeram64 (AT) satyam (DOT) net.in> wrote: > > I just noticed VA_astro_list has crossed 78,000+ mails till date. Guest guest
mistakes => learnings => knowledge (inventions?)/understanding. So it is OK to ask, to make others think and learn in the process, unless the mails are not purged causes searches to stutter. The learned Gurus are giving inputs and as well as getting case studies for their research. I did a KP Hororary, and got a value of 1/6 for the five - each. So that last 1/6 seems to be Misc (advt, humor, promotion etc..). In the last couple of months that I am in the group, I have seen more of help requests only. This mail too is in the last category. Misc. Sorry to add one more. Regards Vijay vedic astrology, "Sre_eram" <sreeram64 wrote: > > I just noticed VA_astro_list has crossed 78,000+ mails till date. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Sreeram, Namaste. I think that many of the factors listed by you could be judged quite subjectively. The fact that the group has 6000 plus members, many of whom are regularly active, makes it a valuable discussion group. I always try to sift through the mails and find some interesting questions to diuscuss. I try to pick the theoretic questions which may be useful for others also, not only for the native whose chart is under discussion.
