Guest guest
Learned group members, Sorry for ego focus. I learn much about Vedic from the study of my own chart and of those close to me. I suppose I feel "safer" from this standpoint right now..eventually I will focus on other charts when I feel most comfortable I recall reading the ruler of Navamsha moon is the recommended deity for propitiation...My Navamsha moon is Libra....Venus ruled would equate to Lakshmi? I have found my most effective mantras to Maha Lakshmi...just wanted to verify...but, I also have Libra Lagna in Rasi, does Lagna figure into this as well? RY Saturn in 9th with Ketu would direct me towards Shiva...but I found best results with deities of feminine nature...Kali kicked my behind...so, I leave her alone... Also, I've read several books that say a weak Jupiter isn't as harmful...though luck is "spoiled"...Jupie in Capricorn in 4th with Mercury and Venus makes an unhappy Jupie as Venus and Mercury would be inclined to overindulge in pleasurable things and communication? Which works against Jupies more guru-like nature...But, Saturn ruling and in 9th gives a different route to spiritual asceticism...no physical gurus...more esoteric with Ketu next to Saturn... Jupie is a tough planet for me to get a handle on because of all the cross connections with Saturn and the 9th house.... Any insight will be read and absorbed carefully... Kindest Regards, Kat
Guest guest
Dear kat, That reference to Navamsha ruler of moon , to be treated as Diety, was made by me on this Forum so I thought it proper to reply to You. You may/may not find reference about this in books, I have learnt from my Guru (Teacher). See the lucky ones are already put on the path of the diety referred by the Navamsha Moon Lord.In my case also I was automatically worshipping the Lord as suggested by my horoscope without knowing this fact , and always loved praying to this Diety. Venus may also indicate Maha Lakshmi - Right. one statement You should not have made 'Kali kicked my behind". Do not talk like this about dieties specially about those dieties like Rudra, Bhairav, Hanumanji, Kaali and other Forms of the Devi which are more into Tamas Guna as per their manifestations required, as they will not take time to get offended and pay back in the same coin,or worser. And anyway they are not supposed to keep us happy but its the other way round, we have to appease them to grant their favours. we should always respect and speak well while referring to them. This Diety should be treated as B Complex tablets to be taken regularly. The Lagna Diety/connected gems are to be treated as daily food . The remedies for Maha dasha and Antar dasha lords are to be taken as Specific tablets meant for say a sickness like jaundice or typhoid or like a guest/relative/loved ones stay with us which will last for a while. The order of Remedies should be first Your Diety, second The Mahadasha Lord and third the Lagna Lord. For lagna Lord You may use Gems etc.but for MahaDAsha Lord always recite Mantras as far as possible. These are my personal views, other astrologers view may be different. About the rest of your points I cannot comment as not seen your chart. regards, Bhaskar. , "katcampise" <katcampise wrote: > > Learned group members, > > Sorry for ego focus. Guest guest
Dear katcompise, Not to muddy the issue but just to add another layer of possibility, I believe this comes from Sanjay Rath's school (Jaimini based? Not too sure!) that the 12th from karakamsha holds the key to one's ishtadevta. Mantrasiddhi is studied from the fifth. Guest guest
Bhaskar, Thank you for your points. Regarding Kali, She knows I love her, and She rightfully brought me to a sudden path of distancing from the material plane...I respect your thoughts on the matter...Kali still maintains a Rightful and Prominent place in my area of Worship..along with Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Ganesha....I make sure Deities surround me to keep me mind-full of serving them First....Indeed, when I was reciting Kali Mantras 10 years ago, I had someone say they saw Kali in my appearance....they did not know I had been Faithfully reciting Her various forms... On another train of thought, has anyone else had this happen? Just curious. Guest guest
Dear Kat, For certain mantras for female dieties,(I will not put the name here). You come to know when You have attained the siddhi of that particular mantra, for ex. I know of a mantra when a person if he recites regularly , some day a black cat will come near him and sit for some time ,this indication should make the person realise that he has been succesful in appeasing that diety. If You know so many female dieties and have worshipped them then find out cat is the vehicle of which one. That should be clue enough for You. To see a form of Kaali in real life would not make the person stand straight. Ordinary people of 0 watts Night bulb cannot take power of 100 watts .The bulb will burst immediately. Manifestation of Deities in the worshippers body I have seen personally alongwith a crowd of 500 people and standing 100 feet away I trembled like a leaf. That was 20 years ago when my journey into spiritual began, because that day when a logical mind and modern educated from one of the best Roman Catholic schools like me, saw the worshipper hanging in the air 5 feet above the ground , from that moment I knew that there is Power all around, and we should not unleash it until we are ready. The Diety I will not name was offended due to some ritual not done in conformity with laid down principals and showed his ire by coming in the devotee and suspended in the air and needed 10 men to pacify him and bring to the ground. Even those who are not from the Hindu Fold or religion have experienced this. I know of a Moroccan born lady who came to India and met me me one year back. She gets the divine experiences at times while singing and blood starts oozing from her body. Anyway. is it 1.56 am on 31st night and 1st morning ? Also mention the longitiude and latitude of your birth place . Just required to confirm. We all know where Orange is. All my Inbox is flooded by hundreds of mail from here. And are You a female ? Guest guest
Shri Ranjanji, Yes I remember this mention in Jaimini, relating to atmakaraka and Karakamsha Lagna with reference to ones Ishta devata, few years back had read, for my own interest. We are fortunate to have at least few natives interested to know about these things, normally people come for wanting to know about their loves, wealth and health. regards, Bhaskar. , "crystal pages" <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Dear katcompise, > > Not to muddy the issue but just to add another layer of possibility, > I believe this comes from Sanjay Rath's school (Jaimini based?
