Yes, the bumblebee is very much favored by Krishna and Radharani. Sometimes

the bumblebee is taken as a messenger by Radharani and she rebukes the

bumblebee because the bumblebee is blackish and Krishna is also blackish.

Still, in spite of all rebuking, the bumblebee tried always to touch the

Lotus Feet of Radharani. Therefore the bumblebee is to be offered our all

reverence and respect. So please try to attract always the bumblebee by

sufficiently decorating the Deity with flowers.

Dear Prabhus,

In the interest of promoting the cause of go-raksha, please take a look at

this short news item from England about the benefits of organic milk:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/08/30/norganic30.xml.

Basically, the findings are summarized as follows: "...the results of a

year-long study of 36 farms published in the Journal of Dairy Science. It

found that organic milk had about 69 per cent more Omega 3 than conventional

milk. Omega 3 is thought to protect the heart against disease, help

developing brains and improve the condition of some people with depression

and bipolar disorder."

In addition to supporting Srila Prabhupada's claims that milk is good for

the brain (an argument the vegans oppose), it provides more overall support

for cow use and therefor cow protection. As Prabhupada said in New Talavana

about using bulls rather than machinery - 'if you don't have a plan to use

them, there will be a plan to get rid of them'. Unfortunately, although

organic farming practices may mean better treatement for cows while

productive, it does necessarily follow that they will not be slaughtered

after that, but small steps are better than none.
