Guest guest
The Sri Kannan Kaviyam by Shriman Govindakrishnan Alagar makes very nice reading. I have read ealier in this group his rendering of Sri Sundara Kaanda Kaviyam, Sita Kalyanam and Sri Aandal Adaikalappaathu. In simple Tamil in rythamic style, Lord has made this swamy to write on these glorious topics. I come to know that some people regularly read the Sita Kalyanm and Sri Andal Adaikla pathu, which hardly takes a few minutes only. I came to know that one Rama Bhaktha by name Shri. Santhanam swamy from srivaishnavi nagar distributed free copies of the Sri Sundarakanda Kaviyam on Sri Ramanavami day and was relished by many devotees. I wish some of these are published in our vaishnavaite magazines so that large number of persons, who are not accustomed to mail usage, would get the benefit. Any it can happen if the soodikodutha naachiyar, who makes this swamy write all these, wishes. Many Pranams to Dr. Sadgopan swamy who takes the initiative to ciruclate these in the religous sites. Guest guest
I too went through the Sri Kannan Kaviyam. While the whole Kaviyam is pleasant to read, three sections appear the best: 1. Kalinga Narthanam and Raasa leela - the stanzas are set to nice clapping rhythm. 2. The Geethopadesam, which brings out the main points of Geetha for laymen. Especially the one stanza capturing the sarangathi thathvam is fine. 3. The stanzas extolling the effects of Bhakthi on the Lord.
