thanks mr ghosh,

i would like u ask u how to control the restless mind.......

 

the mind is very restless, and it seems difficult to control.

 

what should i do for controlling the chanchal mind.

Dear Kanishk,

 

Sorry for intrusion.

 

To control mind is what every one in yoga wants to achieve.

A person who can control mind can control everything in the universe.

So its not easy.

But that does not mean that we should stop trying.

B coz ultimately few who succeed ,are from this auspicious group

who keeps on trying no matter how elusive this may be.

Japa is good for mind control.

Japa with Dhyan (Also known as Dhyan sahit Japit) is good.

Writing regularly Gods name on paper daily for some predecided

number is also good.

Prayanam is good.

Watching or observing Your breath is good.

Trataka on flame or photo or symbol on wall/photo is also good.

(But I would say second category method).

Supplementing wrong/badnegative thoughts with positive ones is good.

 

Pooja for 1-2 hours daily early morning.

Praying to Sun God is good.

 

Whatever You like you may do from above.

Dear Kanish,

Our sages have enumerated a number of ways to control or mind...

 

Meditation, pranayam for example....however, if u r not religious u

can read some of the books that u like...

Else, sit in front of ur god for sometime...

& keep a special time for "SILENCE" everyday...that will also

help....& try to be positive...
