Dear Pranav,

The UL Lord, apart from the location of the UL is another

determinant to know about the spouse. One should always look at the

placement of the UL Lord, whether UL is in a Saturnine sign or not.

I do not really think that in all cases, the Lord of a Saturnine UL

in the 5th House would give marriage to a person who already has

children. It could mean a love affair with either an orthodox or

conservative person and he/ she might be older than expected. These

things have to be read together.

The 2nd House and the 8th House are linked to 2nd marriages and the

determinants of a marriage placed here can involve the element of

2nd marriage.

It can also mean that the spouse is from a very wealthy family or

even that the spouse behaves as a Maraka. These placements should be

correlated with the placement of the Rashi 7th Lord and the 7th

House and Lord in the Navamsha. That would yield a better and more

cohesive picture.

Dear Anurag, Namaste!

Thank you for your reply!

Now I understand why placement of Sa in 2nd house gave marriage to a person already married in the given case for a Saturnine UL. Seems Saturnine UL is unique, being debilitaion sign for Ju, makes it behave even more interestingly.

Another question, not related to Satrunine UL, In one of the examples Sanjay ji (I believe in COVA) states that Ra in UL tells about the nature of the person. Additionally, he also tells that Ra in UL can also indicates a foreigner and the state of the planet in UL indicates the family of the spouse. Exalted/Mooltrikona - High status family.

What if Rahu is exalted/ or in Mooltrikona, does it show Rahu nature (negative results) and a high status family or it shows positive traits about the spouse on account of its state ?

Thank you for your patience in answering my rather silly questions.

Warm regards,

Pranav

Dear Pranav,

Yes, the exaltation, debilitation or Mooltarikona gives pointers

about the social status of the spouse. The other factors must be

seen through co-relation. Adversity is to be seen from the mutual

placement of the UL and its Lord from the Lagna and the AL as well

as the Navamsha factors given below.
