Guest guest
Hi Pankaj, A software cannot make you learn. It can assist you with calculations that may go wrong when one is new to astrology, or is not good enough with calculations. I recommend that you use J-Hora (it is free as well as very accurate in terms of calculations) and study the following books: 1. Integrated to Vedic Astrology (Narasimha Rao) - It is very good book and you will get to know the basics well. 2. Practical Vedic Astrology - a good reference for various placements of planets, rashis in different signs and a lot of information summarized in a very good manner. Neeraj Pankaj Rathod <prathod > wrote: Hi to all the members I would want to know if there r any free/shareware software which would give me the charts as well as some analysis and interpretation also.I tried some sharewares but most of them had a single horoscope in it and did not allow me to do anything else I am saying free/shareware because i would want it to learn and be comfortable before going for a full copy. BTW i have jhora full version which i feel is very good but it does not give detail interpretations, which is not helpful for me to learn. welcoming replies to my quest. Regards Pankaj. Guest guest
Dear Neeraj, One of my reasons for joining astrology as a student was because I used to make my own horoscope from various softwares available all over India (I have at least 80 own horoscopes of myself)whenevr I was travelling and never knew what astrology is about. Here I used to get all various predictions which never matched my life and all of them were contradictory. That was 20-25 years ago. Now I know better. Machines can never give predictions whatever You may feed in them, only human mind which is small extension of the superconsciousness mind can do that. But softwares are very good for perfect calculations just like a calculator where mistakes cannot be possible unless your inputs are wrong. I also suggest for a start buy all books by Shri B V Raman, who has been Guru to me and most of us since last half a century or more. regards, Bhaskar. , Pankaj Rathod <prathod wrote: > > Hi Neeraj, > Thanks for your advice,I was also thinking the same that if i am to learn it why do i need readymade prediction and analysis.I have J- Hora and would surely get the books mentioned by you. > Once again thanks a lot. > Regards > Pankaj. > > Neeraj Gupta <gupta_neeraj_2000 wrote: > Hi Pankaj, > > A software cannot make you learn. I will definately get the books by Shri B V Raman. Guest guest
It has become apparent from me that you have not heard of shri Venkataramana of Tirupati. He is a software Engineer-technologist and a great astrologer himself. He took years to write his own software for Jyotisha and he can give a day to day prediction based on the Hora amnd the Astrological sciences. I am amazed by his predictions and I sincerely consider his efforts to integrate Software to Jyotisha as a great step ahead for Astrology in Modern Science. He has kept his software without being patented and uses it only for his predictions for his personal clients, who are vast in number. i can invite him to be a part of the forum in case the moderator allows me to. Guest guest
Dear Badriji, That would be great if he can join this group and share his valuable knowledge with other astrologers who are giving free service here. if he has really made such a good software as you claim him to possess then it should definitely be available to astrologers like myself and others who are serving here and giving our time to the needy . Knowledge shared is knowledge gained and multiplied on the part of the person who does this. If the Rishi Munis and great astrologers like Shri BV raman, Shri KN Rao, Shri Santhanam, etc. had not shared their researches and studies, then we would not have been here. Therefore please request you freind to come here and show all others too the light he possesses. regards, Bhaskar. , "S V Badri" <svbadri wrote: > > It has become apparent from me that you have not heard of shri Venkataramana > of Tirupati. > > He is a software Engineer-technologist and a great astrologer himself. > He took years to write his own software for Jyotisha and he can give a day > to day prediction based on the Hora amnd the Astrological sciences. > > I am amazed by his predictions and I sincerely consider his efforts to > integrate Software to Jyotisha > as a great step ahead for Astrology in Modern Science. > > He has kept his software without being patented and uses it only for his > predictions for his personal clients, who are > vast in number. > > i can invite him to be a part of the forum in case the moderator allows me > to. > > Namaste, > S.V.Badri > Camp: Tirupati > > > On 8/28/06, Neeraj Gupta <gupta_neeraj_2000 wrote: > > > > Hi Pankaj, > > > > A software cannot make you learn.
