manglik dosha cancellation

Dear friends,

Mars as lord of 4th and 9th house for leo lagna is a

big handicap

when placed in 12th house moon-

the tension in marital life are sometimes unbearable !

Yoga Karka planet placed in 12th house can not help

much.

Again for Kumbha lagna Mars is 3,10th lord and

is not a yoga karaka planet-

its presence in 4th house can wreck ones' married life

owing to untrained and uncontrollable behaviour/ ego

problems sometimes even leading to suicide/

separation.

Just blind following of the one book Jataka Chandrika

will lead us nowhere- it is just a book for beginners

of astrology- to keep it simple- a lot of important

principles of astrology has been left by the author.

So we should rather go by experience and have an

holistic approach while judging Mangalya Dosha.

Interestingly, Dr. B.V. Raman in his book How To Judge

Horoscope (Volume-II)

Dr. Raman has suggested to calculate Mangalya Dosha(

dosha related to Mangalya or marriage- not Mars dosha,

which is just limited to Mars only) for the chart of

the bride and the groom separately and compare them

before finalisation of a match.

In his examples Dr. Raman calculates this dosha

(Mangalya Dosha) for all the planets.

SO LEARNED ASTROLOGERS MAY LIKE TO AT LEAST A STEP

AHEAD WHERE DR. RAMAN HAD LEFT RATHER THAN MOVING BACK

TOWARDS OBSCURITY.

SIMPLY JUSTIFYING CANCELLATION OF MARS DOSHA/ MANGALYA

DOSHA ETC. BY QUOTING A LOT OF CLASSICAL LITERATURE

ON ASTROLOGY HAS NO PRACTICAL UTITILY- WHEN THE

MARRIAGE PARTERNS HAVE TO STILL SUFFER ALL THROUGH

THEIR LIFE OWING TO IT.

With regards and humbleness,

Mrutyunjay

Dear Bindiyaji:

In the conditions mentioned in your post, there is cancellation of

Mars dosha due to placement of Mars in the house of Moon. The

conjunction of Sun and Moon in the 4th house is not very conductive

to happiness of the native. The remedy lies in fasting on Amavasya

days and worshipping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati for happy

marital life. Also, chanting of Bhavani sahasranamam on Amavasya

days will prove helpful.

But, regarding the Mars dosha, there is absolute cancellation.

Blessed be.

Dear Friends,

Manglik dosa is basically a bhava dosa . When Mars is in 1st,12th ; 4th ; 7th and 8th houses provides this dosa.In case of male charts 7th and in female charts 8th house gives maximum dosa.As 2nd house is 8th from 7th, any

Malefic is bad in 2nd.

In my opinion the term cancellation is not appropriate. The different combinations discussed in Jatak literature are the indication of reduction of degree of this dosa.It can not be eliminated all-together.

If 7th house ,its lord ,its Karaka are strong and there are good yogas in

the nativity for sustenance of marriage , even the strong Manglic dosa ,in ultimate analysis will not be able to destroy marriage. On the other hand ,if nativity is weak for sustenance of marriage , even small dosa will be enough

to create disturbance in matrimonial life.

I , therefore, urge to access the nativity in full .
