thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

Attracting and attracting the iron like minded me,

melting the bones, You showed the sugarcane like

taste the parallel Feet to me!

Oh the One having the matted hair where the tides

uniformly wander! Isn't making the foxes into

great cavalry Your glorious grace?!

Notes:

1. How much of effort God does to uplift us, who remain

as rusted iron block? maNivAcakar refers to Him hence

as calippaRiyAth thanmaiyan (theLLENam), OyvilAthana

(cathakam).

2. Very often in thiruvAcakam maNivAcakar melts

remembering the grace with which God came for his

sake as the horse merchant. (This event is celebrated

as AvaNi mUlam festival at the temple of madhurai).
