Dear BhAgavathas,

Avani-Hastham, is the AvathAra

Thirunakshathiram of "Sri RAmAnuja Daya Pathram".

Periya ParakAla Swami (ParakAla Mutt)who is a direct

Sishya of Swamy Desikan, composed this outstanding

verse & rendered this at Thoopul on this auspicious

day. This year's function was celebrated very well

with Thirumanjanam of Lakshmi Hayagrivan and Swamy

DEsikan simultaneously (Lord over the AchArya, during

Thirumanjanam) with Veda/Prabandha GOsham and

Satrumurai. On this occassion Smt.Shantha presented

a huge Silver vessel (Gangalam) for Thoopul

Thirumadaipalli.

As we all know Hastham is the AvathAra Nakshathiram

of the Supreme at KAnchi (Sri.Varadarajar) and Thoopul

is the first place the Lord descends towards Yajnya

Rakshai of Chathurmukha Brahma (Sri.Deepa PrakAsar).

Since Swamy Desikan covered the very purpose the Lord

made AvathAram from Thoopul to Kanchi(Sri.Deepa

PrakAsar, Sri.Ashta Buja PerumAl, Sri.YathOkthakari

perumAl, Sri. Varadarajar), AdiyEn think Periya

ParakAla Swami chose Thoopul as the place and Avani

Hastham as the date for rendering this tribute to the

greatest, KavithArkika Simham - Sarva Tantra

Swathantrar - VedanthAcharyar in our "Thoopul

Kulamani", "GantAvathAra", "Sri VEnkatanathan" in

Swamy Sri NigamAntha DEsikan,
