Guest guest
Dear Sunil If i am allowed to intervene.Chandrashekhar ji has agreed - as another thread, and as compared to the original ego,Sagittarius is combat. So context is clear. Sharing whatever little i know - Classics mention ''Samarotsukata'' as a nature of Dhanu. It means interested in Samara or fighting.Mahatma Gandhi was a fighter.Bhagawan inspired the Veera among Veeras, the Villaali Veera called Arjuna to become a fighter. Thus it depends on for what you are fighting. There are people who react/fight, as well as who do not, for higher causes. Dhanu represents-Punya,Pitha and most importantly Dharma of Kalapurusha.Guru not only owns, but also has his Moolatrikona(Root triangle or Radical position) in Dhanu. So Guru is supposed to uphold, all values, with discipline,in Dhanu. Ofcourse, this is a non corrupted nature and modifications will be effected, based on aspects/conjunctions, graha navamshas etc,as usual. To judge a person you have to look at Lagna,Moon,5th house etc in general.Lagna shows the general nature.Moon shows the feelings and thoughts/fantasies coming and going on the Mana.5th house shows budhi, which is past impressions or samskaras.Looking at 5th house and influences,we can understand constant budhi or samskara of a person. ''The First Drekkana of Sagittarius represents a man with the body of a horse and with a face human, protecting a hermitage inhabited by Rishies and protecting their articles for Yajnas''.( Moola trikona). One need not be surprised,if dhanu fights and destroys some one trying to disrupt or corrupt, Sacred knowldeges/Yajnas.Discharging duty, whenever a need arise. ''The middle Drekkana of Sagittarius represents a magnificent woman, ravishing, golden hued, seated in the Bhadrasana pose, picking up gemstones from the ocean''.-This is nothing but seeking the depths of wisdom. ''The third Drekkana of Sagittarius represents a man appareled in silken cloth and skins of deers and tigers, golden complexioned, with hair all over the face, sitting in a highly elevated posture, holding a stick in one hand''. The bottom line, every sign has its own advantages and disadvantages. Thus we may give weightage to Classical Pramanas,as compared to exaggerations. As i can be misunderstood for bias towards dhanu - only classical views are mentioned. Kindly provide the example charts ,the serial killer, dictatorial jyotisha etc so that we can study the reasons underlying. Thanks Pradeep
Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, Well said. You have really understood the nature of rasis, not only Dhanu, as you have taken pains to find out the nature of dreshkana. The distinction between prepared to fight for defending principles and war-mongering or seeking fights is brought out quite clearly.
