Guest guest
The Christians have thousands of ministries and outreach groups to reach people with their gospel message, and they are the largest religion in the world, with billions of followers of every race, because of their international outreaches. Yet many of these same converts to Christianity, like for example in Africa, would have been more interested in Hindu teachings, but they have never heard Hindu spiritual teachings! therefore they convert to Christianity to fill the spiritual void in their life, because that religion has reached out to them. Sanatana-Dharma has very important metaphysical teachings and Yoga practices that can be of benefit to millions of people around the world. However, we need to share our message. I am not speaking of trying to bang people over the head to convert, like the fundamentalists Christians - but I am speaking of sharing our spiritual message in the world, for those who are interested to listen. And believe me, MANY people are interested! What can Hindus do to try to reach people around the world with their profound spiritual message, that can help in the upliftment of the people of this world? For one, we can show that Hinduism is a religion for everyone, a Universal Religion, an eternal religion, Sanatana Dharma.. And we can show how our metaphysical teachings apply to every incarnated jiva. A more active presence of Hindus on interfaith discussion forums is one place to start. The net is a powerful way to conduct a spiritual outreach. I am sure some others have other ideas.
