Dear Muktimaa ~ poetry so often can what words cannot by themselves. Thank

you so much for sharing this lovely poem. It makes me think of the tall

sunflowers (warriiors) in my garden, and in a way two of the Morning Glories that

are now taking over. I haven't been a good caretaker of my garden as I've been

quite ill again. But I marvel at its bounty and think what a wonderful

Goddess who cares for us.

 

I do nothing and still I have the Sun Flower warriors, the endless parade of

zucchini and squash, the tomatos, and the apples from the two apple trees. I

am praying for the energy this weekend to make some zucchini bread, and to

cut and peel and cook up the apples into some apple sauce and apple butter, and

perhaps make a few loaves of apple bread. Though I am sick, I see the

harvest time approaching, even in the swellen belly of my pregnant cat. She is so

beautiful. And it all stands, as you say, in the naked Truth of Eternity,
