Guest guest
HESSONITE : The following story is also drawn from my own personal experience. In 1976, while staying on the Indonesia island of Bali, where I was having an extensive collection of astral jewelry crafted by goldsmiths there, I was introduced to a young American living on this island. His nickname was "Abdula" due to his dark complexion, and he was known as an inveterate, chronic gambler. I informed Abdula that the gem hessonite, when flawless, was renowned in traditional Hindu lore as a lucky charm for gamblers, owing to its relationship with the fickle planet Rahu. I happened to have an exceptionally fine specimen of hessonite with me, which I'd recently obtained in Sri Lanka. Intrigued with the idea of owning a bought the stone and asked me to have it properly set in a ring for him. So I designed a special astral ring in pure silver, complete with the appropriate herbal ashes sealed into tiny tubes next to the stone, and sold this talisman to him for $400. When I went to deliver the ring, Abdula was deeply engaged in a serious game of backgammon with several other people. He told his fellow gamblers about the lucky ring, and they all scoffed at the idea of such a powerful talisman. So right then and there he slipped the ring onto his finger and decided to test its purported power. To everyone's incredulous amazement (and to my own great relief), Abdula won the price of the ring in the very first game, and immediately I received three new orders from the other players! Guest guest
Great story. And then when all 4 players each had the sametype of ring on, who won? Surya ---That depends on the position of Rahu in each of their birth charts as well as periods in motion. Out of 4 winners ONE must prevail. Guest guest
Hello Richard, You do have an eye for astrology. Very interesting. Even Ketu (Chrysoberly Cats eye) has similar effects with the right positioning of the Ketu. However, I wanted to express my thoughts on gambling. As said in Spider Man "With power comes responsibility" :-) Gambling has very strong karmic reactions and if one helps some one with the same activity the indirect helper too will gather sanchit karma. Guest guest
Yes, the 4 pillars of Kali are drinking, gambling, meat eating, and prostitution. Whereever these are there Kali can reside. My experience was in 1974 and his gambling is his business. My business is to sell gems. If it is true that Gomeda is lucky for gambling then I have only told the truth. People will gamble regardless. His winning at gambling was not because of the Gomeda, but entirely because of his karma. I would be wrong if I shared the rewards of his gambling, but he paid for the ring only the price. So my grave sin is selling a flawless Gomeda at a very fair price. His sin is gambling. Business, travel, sports, politics, ALL are gambling. War is gambling. Anything we do without knowing the result is gambling... That is why, "padampadamyatvipadam" at ever step there is danger.
