Guest guest
There is nothing in Sanskrit texts that says rudraksh cannot be worn while sleeping. Of course, if having relations with spouse, rudraksh should be taken off and put on home altar. If you are householder, general rule of thumb is not to wear rudraksh when visiting cremation grounds and any unclean places.
