UV and Infrared rays are electromagnetic waves of different wavelenghts. Radio Waves<<Infra Red<<Red (75nm)---organe--yellow--green--blue--blue/violet(400nm)-->>>ultraviolet rays>>> X-rays>>>Gama Rays... nm=nanometer. you can see upto Red (left side) and Violet on (right side) of above electromagnetic wave scale. If you have mobile with camera you can see the proof of Infrared waves that take the picture in dark. Don`t try to see UV rays by naked eyes. You can notice diamond ring on solar eclipse (don`t see by naked eyes use shielded screen) you can see it. But best is use spectrometer in any Physics lab. In Astrology use of Color to heal and change the mood is common. But what about the blind people? electromagnetic waves that strike your mind can be used in making sensative to surrounding things. For your information,I have seen total solar eclipse,the diamond ring one in naked eyes...I dont suffer from any eye problems.... Secondly you must having good eyes. Protect them. Best Luck.
